Finding essential lines and elements (and not too much more) is a goal of mine when working on figurative sculpture. I prefer simple to complex, line to detail, and suggestion rather than definition.

Power and Condition
A lot of my figurative work accentuates physical features to suggest either condition or sources of power. A small tilt of the head or a bit longer than normal legs can mean a lot when trying to capture a moment.
Fish Sculpture
I also enjoy making fish sculpture. I have made fish sculptures for several restaurants, architects, and many private residences in the last several years. Commissions for fish are always welcome.
